Truck Driving Championship Committee recruiting new members

The MTAC Truck Driving Championship (TDC) Committee is recruiting new members! The TDC Committee is comprised of several volunteers from member companies, as well as retired “industry veterans,” who play very important roles for the TDC. The TDC Committee will spearhead items such as: drafting and finalizing the written exam, designing the skills course, procuring donated equipment (including tractors and trailers) for use in the competition, securing other donated goods, recruiting competitors, working with event sponsors, judging all aspects of the competition on the day of the event, and other tasks that are important to having a successful event.

The 2016 Truck Driving Championship was a successful event, thanks to the TDC Committee. MTAC is already looking forward to the 2017 competition, but a strong TDC Committee is needed to do that.

The TDC Committee will meet several times beginning in late January, and culminating with the event in June. Meetings will be held either at the MTAC office, or at the site of the event.
