The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) will hold an informational webinar on June 19, 2018 at 1:30 PM discussing the recently announced Connecticut Diesel Emissions Mitigation Program. This competitive grant program is making $7.5 million available for use by non-government and government entities towards projects to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions from a wide array of mobile sources.
The webinar will provide a brief background on the VW Settlement, a review of the Diesel Emissions Mitigation Program requirements, eligible projects and funding amounts, an overview of the program forms and DEEPs processing timeline, awardee responsibilities, and a Q&A period. Please note that they will not be taking any project specific questions during the webinar. Any project specific questions should be directed to DEEP.MobileSources@ct.gov.
You will be required to pre-register for this event and attendance is limited to the first 100 registrations. If you are unable to participate in the webinar, it will be recorded and made available on the program webpage. Prior to the webinar, feel free to review program information and forms at www.ct.gov/deep/vw. Remember that proposals under this program are due no later than 5:00 PM EST on July 31, 2018.
